Duolingo is an easy-to-use, on-line language learning program. When starting a language you have an option to do a test and then start part way through. It can be a good way to brush up on vocabulary and verb conjugation.
I recently came across ICDL, a free children's digital library. Fantastic!!
You can get all levels of children's books in almost any language.
