Some ideas about potential UI focuses:

• For each listing page, review filtering, sorting, and pagination. Starting with groups. The most common entry point may be: "I'm looking for a group". The existing search is a good start, but doesn't allow filtering within results.
• Review/inventory permission-based element visibility, both current and desired. Example. Current: at /files a regular user sees a drop-down select for each file, but it's empty. Desired: the select is present only if the current user has edit access to the given file.
• Identify if and when displays might be standardized. Example: currently, card display of group is dependent on aspect ratio of uploaded image.
